MYTH :

Ultraviolet lamps can be used to disinfect the hands and other areas of your body.

FACT :

  • UV radiation can damage your eyes and can cause skin problems and irritation.
  • Cleaning your hands and other body parts with sanitizer, soap water are effective ways to get rid of virus.

MYTH BUSTER (2)

MYTH : 

Hand dryers are effective in killing COVID-19 virus because they throw hot air.

FACT: 

  • Hot air is not related to killing virus as the new COVID-19 can survive in hot weather.
  • Better to use sanitizers every time.

MYTH BUSTER (3)

MYTH : 

COVID-19 virus can be spread through mosquitoes.

FACT: 

  • Till now there is no news or evidence that the new corona virus is getting spread through mosquitoes.
  • This new corona virus is a respiratory virus which spreads though sneezing and coughing from a infected person.
  • Avoid close contact with with any person who is coughing or sneezing.
  • Keep alcohol based sanitizers every time.

MYTH BUSTER (4)

MYTH : 

Taking hot bath can prevent covid-19 virus from entering our body.

FACT: 

  • Taking bath with hot water will not prevent you from covid-19 to enter into your body at any cost.
  • Hot water bath on the regular basis can damage your skin cells due to which you may suffer from frequent rashes and burns.
  • The best and effective way to eliminate the virus is frequently using alcohol based sanitizers.
  • Clean your hands with alcohol based sanitizers after touching outside things.

MYTH :

Covid-19 virus can not survive in cold weather or snow.

FACT: 

  • New Covid-19 virus can easily survive cold weather or low temperatures.
  • Use alcohol based sanitizers or wash your body parts with soap water to avoid getting in touch of virus.

MYTH BUSTER (6)

MYTH : 

Covid-19 virus can not spread in hot or humid climate.


FACT: 

  • There is no reason to believe this myth.
  • This new virus can easily survive high temperatures and hot/ humid weather.
  • Try to keep 1meters distance from others.
  • Use alcohol based sanitizers.
